Why Bellewood Is Vero Beach FL's Premier Garden Wedding Venue on a Private 20-Acre Estate
We're Bellewood Vero Beach, a Premier Garden Wedding Venue set on a private 20-acre estate in Vero Beach, Florida. The lawns are wide, the oak trees have been standing here for decades, and the house gives you private space to get ready. If you've been hunting for a wedding venue in Vero Beach that feels like a home rather than a rented hall, we built this place with you in mind.
Bellewood Vero Beach’s estate began as a private residence in 1984 and was reimagined in 2015 into the wedding and event property it is today. That history is part of why it doesn't feel like a banquet center. It feels lived in, in the best way.
Why Bellewood works as a Premier Garden Wedding Venue
A private estate gives you a natural setting that carries the day without heavy decor. Everything below is designed around that idea, from where your guests gather for the ceremony to where they land once the dancing starts. Here's how the day tends to unfold.
The grounds, and how your day moves across them
The property is laid out so guests move easily from one part of the day to the next. You can hold your ceremony out on the lawn, gather everyone on the deck for cocktails, then move into the covered reception for dinner and dancing without leaving the grounds. At night, the space changes character, with more than 1,200 feet of vintage market lights strung across the property and a fire pit lounge where guests can settle while the dancing keeps going.
A premier garden wedding venue starts with the ceremony sites
This is where a garden ceremony comes together. For your outdoor ceremony, you can choose between our jasmine-wrapped pergolas, a gazebo, arbor entries, and the oak tree lawn. A garden ceremony here doesn't need much dressing up, because the manicured lawns and towering oaks carry most of the scene. The oak tree lawn gives you that classic garden ceremony look with very little added. A few ceremony options carry their own details and pricing, so we'll walk you through the choices on your tour.
Your covered reception and cocktail deck
Florida weather keeps its own schedule, so your reception sits under cover. Our covered reception pavilion comfortably seats 150 or more guests for dining and dancing, with larger layouts possible depending on your setup. Just off the reception, a separate deck handles cocktail hour and live music, with farmhouse high-top tables already in place. Farmhouse tables, wooden cross-back chairs, and ceremony benches come with the space, so the big rental pieces are handled before you start planning.
The house, and staying on the estate
The residence runs over 5,000 square feet and sits secluded on the 20 acres, which keeps your getting-ready hours calm and out of view. There's a bridal suite, a groom suite, and prep rooms, so both sides have their own space in the morning. The Complete Package includes one overnight stay before or after the wedding, based on the booking. Ask our team about the current overnight accommodation details when reviewing the package.
Food, drinks, and what you bring in
We keep catering flexible. You're welcome to bring in your own licensed caterer, or use our preferred vendor list if you'd rather start from a shortlist. For the bar, you can supply your own alcohol or hire a licensed bartending service. One policy worth knowing early: we don't allow cash bars at any time, so plan your bar as a hosted one. There's a full catering kitchen on site with a full-size refrigerator and freezer, dual ovens and stoves, and a stainless steel three-compartment sink, so your caterer has real room to work.
